WINE NAME: PIEMONTE DOC ALBAROSSA – ALBAROSSA
The origin of the Albarossa grape is a combination of the elegance of Chatus and the balanced force of Barbera. Vilified in wood barrels. The fermentation with indigenous yeast and maceration, for a long time closes the long period of harvest every year at Bretta Rossa.
PRODUCING COUNTRY: Situated in Tagliolo Monferrato, Beretta Region. Marley soil tufaceous sediment. Pruning system Guyot. Age of the vines are approximately 10 years:
GRAPES: Albarossa in purity yielding 50q / ha
HARVEST: October, manual using small crates
WINE MAKING: In large barrels, refined in large barrels then bottled
TASTING NOTES:
Color: ruby red with love violet reflections
Nose: mature red fruits, particularly prune and cherry. A hint of grass and wood
Flavour by Mouth: soft, harmonious, full bodied and persistent
ALCHOL CONTENT: 13.5 %
