PRODUCTION AREA: Italy | Veneto
S. Ambrogio di Trebaseleghe, vineyards surrounding the farm. The vineyard located in an area always known as “Grion”.
VINES: 100% Merlot
SOIL TYPES: Clayey, with broad bands of a Pleistocene paleosol consisting of an extremely compact, silty-sandy clay, known locally as “caranto”. It is a type of soil that is particularly present, in the Venice lagoon and also found in alluvial sediments of the Veneto-Friuli plain
GRAPE BREEDING SYSTEM: Spurred cordon. The production of grapes per plant is low (less than two kilograms) both in terms of how new plants have been set up and in terms of a precise production choice
ORGANOLEPTIC DESCRIPTION: It is an intense ruby red with purple reflections. The intense aroma smells of currants, raspberries, cherry jam, vanilla, mint. It is an intense, soft, rich wine.
COMBINATIONS: Roast red wine, game, pasta with meat sauce. You can taste it with mature cheeses. Serving temperature: 16-18 degrees.
